It got recently revived with three new games, starting around 2005 or 2009 or so. Something like that.

Twisted Dreams is the latest entry.

Yeah, some of the new games were for the DS, and Twisted Dreams is PC-exclusive, I think.

I think the first movie is in some sort of video game uncanny valley for me, because it fills me with rage.

The second looks pretty cool.
