Heapers' Hollywood Heist - Part 1: Create a diversion

Ideas:
  • Walk in and ask the guards for directions to the building you're already at. When they point this out to you, look at them as if they're crazy and repeat the same address. "No, I said 1123 Peachtree Street!"
  • Ask for directions to a location that would seemingly be nearby, but in fact does not exist, e.g. the intersection of two parallel streets. If they catch on, act confused and tell them your friend told you to meet them there.
  • Walk in and politely ask to have the item your crew is trying to steal. The guards will be thrown for a loop and will just sit and stare.
  • Attempt to bring a live horse through the revolving door. (Use care not to hurt the horse in the process.)
  • Ask them to let you tell them about Homestuck. Proceed to do so in excruciating detail.
  • Dress in a dirty uniform and claim to be picking up a check for Consolidated Fertilizer, LLC. When they have no idea what you're talking about, say "well, somebody's gotta pay for that truckload of manure I dumped in the parking garage!"
  • If you need to stall for time for any of the above, just get belligerent until they feel the need to escort you from the building.

So, which one should we go for? I like the horse idea, myself. Think about it: you'd get the guards to get up from their desk, plus you have an easy getaway horse should things go wrong!
