Since Valentine's Day is coming up soon, what about a couples theme? If people want to stay away from shipping and such, it would not necessarily have be romantic couples either, just two people, animals, or things that go well together.
Of course, if that sounds silly, people can totally go for another avatar theme they think would work better.

Would anyone like to do an avatar exchange for April Fools'? A while back Central Avenue (I think) suggested April 1st being a good day for that, so I was wondering if anyone was still up for it.
I figure there could be a couple of different ways to exchange them if people wanted to, but whatever people want to do is fine with me.

Well, I guess it depends on how people want to do it. One way to set it up would be for everybody who wants to opt in to be added to a list and for heapers to be randomly paired based on that list. After the pairings are set, someone (either me or another person) would PM each person in the pair and encourage the two of them to secretly work out what avatars they would like to trade for April Fools'.
Another idea would be for all of the heapers who are interested to submit an avatar into one big pool and for those avatars to be randomly assigned for people to use on April 1st.
I personally think the first option might be more fun because it has more of the element of surprise, but if people have other ideas, we could totally go with one of those instead. Also, if people think that just trading avatars is not going to confusing enough, we could swap signatures too.
