Because I recommended it to people so now I have a reason to make this.
Description of the game, from my wiki on the subject.
Shoot First is a hybridized roguelike/top-down shooter game from developer Teknopants. Shoot First combines the high difficulty and randomized level layout of roguelikes with the fast-paced action of top-down arcade shoooters such as Berzerk. Shoot First will have you dodge traps (the boulders!), fight enemies and tough bosses, evade hunters, rescue damsels, and of course, collect better guns. The result is an incredibly addicting and fun game that you will doubtless sink some serious time into. The free version of the game can be downloaded here at no cost to you, and the Extra version can be acquired by making a donation to the developer.

Single player or co-op but the co-op requires some magic bullshit with hooking two mice up to the same computer and I don't know how to do it.
