While I am well aware that you are joking, I know this from reading articles about animal sanctuaries. Apparently there's this one guy that exclusively rescues hyenas—I think the guy in those photos, actually.
They're pretty high maintenance, too; they need a lot of open space and eat copious amounts of meat.
