I remember comparing my friends to ponies for fun, and one of them was like naw man I'm the crazy fuck murder pony (referring to Rarity "murdering" the sea serpent in episode two) and I'm like yeah man I'm telling you that's Pinkie Pie. And then I linked that image and he thought it was awesome.

Sometimes I wonder what it's like for other sentient beings in the show's world. I assume that ponies are the dominant species, in part due to their control over nature. Do other species exert some control or did "Hearth's Warming Eve" rule that out?
In any case, I don't think the other species are good farmers. They seem to be primarily hunter-gatherers, even the ones that have their own society and culture distinct from that of ponies.
I think farm animals and pets can be considered to have lower status than ponies, but they seem to get along well enough that it isn't likely a major concern.

Something else to keep in mind is that Pinkie, Mr. Cake, and Mrs. Cake are all bakers and all earth-ponies and work at a bakery.
Applejack also seems to do a great deal of baking.
I wouldn't be surprised if earth ponies where somehow naturally better at cooking.
Obviously, we've seen Rarity and her sister cooking (or attempt to cooking in the later case), so it's not like it's impossible for the other species to cook for themselves, but I wouldn't doubt they're less likely to be good at it.
It's funny, but I'd imagine there's other subtle stuff. Like Earth Ponies are generally better wood and metal workers.

Twilight also almost destroyed the town because she thought she'd be tardy with a report to Celestia.
Rarity is the actual Queen of all the other drama queens. Though, I think this is mostly her keeping herself entertained and a little too used to being alone and talking to herself while working.

I doubt even Pinkies friends could convince her to break off a relationship with something the cry's Skittles...unless she realized she would was abusing him just for the sake of getting him to cry
From scout, soldier, pyro, demo, heavy, engy, medic, sniper, to spy... It usually goes something like Rainbow, Spike, Pinkie, Zecora, Big Mac, Applejack, Fluttershy, Twilight, Rarity. But, I've seen some interesting uses of Pinkie and Fluttershy switching those roles, and soldier and heavy are among the more variable classes.

Just finished watching Sweet and Elite.
Do you think Fancy Pants has figured out that all the ponies in Canterlot are really fucking stupid and he can get them to do anything he wants just by pretending to like something?
Not that I have anything against Fancy Pants, I thought he was rad. More power too him if he's got the Canterlot elite wrapped around his hoofs like that.
The powerful have a lot more say in terms of what's fashionable. That's just the way of things, and I'd guess he'd be aware of it. It doesn't seem as though he bothers to exploit that except in order to make an outsider more welcome.
