My head-canon is that Fluffel Puff is a never ending supply of love for Chrysalis to the point where she can actually feel love by being around her.

Actully, "not being able to feel love" might be something I picked up from "ask Chrysalis", but I like that, too.

Friday is now on season 3.

She noted that it felt different immediately.

She's somewhat enjoyed some of the episodes (Too Many Pinkie Pies, Magic Duel), though notes they're still off.

Though we both enjoyed "Sleepless in Ponyville", on reflection, it's one of season 3's strongest.

I'm sure it's been mentioned somewhere, but the solution to figuring out which Pinkie is the real one in "Too Many Pinkie Pies" is mind boggling horrible.

I don't think it's much of a stretch, or even up for debate that Pinkie has ADHD. Heck, saying she is the walking embodiment of ADHD might be more accurate. So making a test where her very existence hinges on her ability to suppress this is nothing short of monstrous. This episode basically is saying "if you love someone enough, you should be able to overcome your mental disorders."

Just figured I'd go on the record and say that I'm disgusted at this episode.

I mean..NO PONY THOUGHT TO QUIZ THE PINKIES ON THEIR MEMORIES?! So instead of a touching realization about the impact Pinkie has had on her friends we basically get to watch a character foisted into what has got to be one of the most uncomfortable experiences of her life?

Just...what the ever-living fuck?

This show has had its share of what the fuck moments... (the whole of Mare-Do-Well and Rarity and Pinkie Pie being abandoned in the desert in "The Last Roundup")

I mean...Pinkie and Rarity where probably close enough to town that they could walk back. All ponies involved basically RAN that far.

Still...you'd think at least ONE of the other ponies would do a head count, or something...

I'm not sure why they didn't just go back to Dodge Junction...Though Pinkie was involved, so the decisions process probably involved less thoughtful discussion and more frustrated screaming followed by a slow acceptance of one's fate.

On that topic, the show seems to have some difficulty with geographical locations. Everywhere seems to be a days, or even less than a days journey away from Ponyville by train.
