Jeff Beck is an extremely talented guitarist. Even if his work isn't something that I would want to listen to all the time, I can still really respect his ability, and not just in a technical sense.
I think it's the line in the chorus about "a bunch of climates in Tempo House," which makes me imagine someone walking into a lodge or Masonic Temple of some sort and finding weird stuff like rainforest and tundra in each room.
