You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
Adam vs Eve is unarguably the worst ERB video. A threadbare premise that led to a bunch of gender stereotypes, and the guest star . At least with Genghis Khan vs the Easter Bunny, they at least made an attempt.
EpicLLOYD's at his best when he's playing the antagonist. Hitler, Sinatra, Hannibal Lecter, so on and so forth.
The voters tend to vote based on the character rather than the rapper, leading to discrepancies. The girl who played Miley Cyrus, for example, was significantly more technically proficient than the one who played Joan of Arc, and yet Miley Cyrus has one of the worst scores on ERB so far. Mozart, likewise, was one of NicePeter's worst performances, imo, and yet his score's much, much higher than LLOYD's Skrillex.
Romney vs Obama has one of LLoyd's best raps, but the Obama guy does the better impression.
The best ones I feel are Martin Luther King vs. Gandhi (with Key and Peele) and TMNT vs. The Renaissance.
TMNT? Really? I thought it was one of the weaker ones, tbh. Felt like the voices and costumes were off for the turtles (not that I'd know; never was much for TMNT)
MLK vs. Gandhi was good though. Didn't like the Dhalsim reference -- the Yoga Fire bit has always struck me as weird -- but man, did they pick good actors for that one. And it resulted in November Christine becoming Oprah in Oprah vs Ellen, which I certainly support.
Dude, ERB's had Snoop and Weird Al as characters. And basically everyone who isn't NicePeter or EpicLLOYD (stupid mandated allcaps) has their own show going on the side.
ERB's like a free publicity event. Dress up as a pop culture icon, do some thematic rapping, and have people follow you back to your YouTube page. Or resume page.
So, every season of ERB has one rap battle that has two female characters (I'd say female rappers, but one of them is, in fact, NicePeter in drag). Without exception so far, they are pretty entertaining.
Season 1: Sarah Palin vs. Lady Gaga: As the fourth episode, this one's a little bit sloppier than the later ones in terms of costuming. And casting budget, given that they couldn't get another female rapper to participate (Gaga's NicePeter). And maybe writing, given that Palin's first verse is largely transphobic (which, to be fair, is pretty appropriate for Sarah Palin). But Lisa Nova does make a good Palin and a decent rapper, NicePeter's lines are all pretty solid, and there's a bit where Palin karate chops a moose and splatters blood on Gaga, which is really impressive special effects for where they were then
Season 2: Madonna vs Cleopatra. This is arguably the most vicious out of the four. Madonna, notably, has a split personality thing going on, switching from passive agressive sniping to I WILL THROTTLE YOU, YOU SKANK. Cleopatra retorts with some of the cruelest insults you'll hear on the site while It's brutal, it's cruel, and it is so, so entertaining to watch.
Season 3: Miley Cyrus vs Joan of Arc: I'll admit, this is probably the weakest of the four, largely because Joan of Arc has...weak flow? Let's call it weak flow. She has a few good moments, but overall, she's not too strong. But it's still worth watching because of Miley. Oh, goodness, Miley. She has that same EpicLloyd thing where she's the villain, but she's entertaining at the same time. And her flow's excellent.
Season 4: Oprah vs. Ellen: This one is rare for both the catfight episodes and ERB in general, because it's has a very...playful tone to it. Like it's a couple of friends poking fun at each other rather than a vicious battle. I think it's because of Ellen. She's all smiling and peppy and she spends half a verse rapping about cute things she has on her show. It's...it's adorable. But also very well done. Sufficiently fast, good rhyme placement, assonance, all that. As for Oprah, well...she's having fun with the role. I mean, Ellen's also having fun with her role, but Oprah's having a lot of fun with her role. Definitely one of my favorites.

He's in the same vague category as people like Watsky and Mac Lethal. More famous on Youtube than anywhere else really.
