Whenever I think of blue and green together I think of these Christmas lights my family had as a child. Blue and green Christmas lights, that we strung on the tree every year.

Of course, you can't buy strands of blue and green lights--or at least, you couldn't in 1991--so my parents bought a strand of blue lights and a strand of green lights and my father sat down and switched out every other bulb.
