Who loves short stories? I love short stories, and hopefully, you love short stories. Post short story-related things here. They can be recommendations, reviews, links to online short stories whether webfiction or public domain stuff, or short stories you've written. Short novellas also acceptable.

Also, not public domain AFAIK but my favourite short story is "The Garden of Forking Paths" by Jorge Luis Borges, which I recommend if you haven't read it.

I second Borges. Also, Donald Barthelme. For instance On Angels or The Balloon. (Only about two-thirds of the latter story is there, for some reason).

Good story Kexruct, I like most of Roald Dahl's short fiction. His dark sense of humor never stops being amusing. Will try to read some of the stories posted here when I get around to it.

It's got typos too.

The shittiness just added to the absurdity to me. I don't know why you wouldn't put more effort into the presentation if you were already spending that much time on it.
