You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
I'd watch the channel, if it existed.
And I'm not just saying that because I came up with the idea, either.
"It is a matter of grave importance that Fairy tales should be respected.... Whosoever alters them to suit his own opinions, whatever they are, is guilty, to our thinking, of an act of presumption, and appropriates to himself what does not belong to him." -- Charles Dickens
Justice is back! How did that happen?
I found it funny how many of the Adult Swim anime were still just shounen (boys) series.

My work week is starting to resemble a regular 40 hour work week again.
And yeah, lots of Shonen, Lots of Sci-Fi (mostly Mecha), and a handful of completely absurd, surreal shows like Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo and Milk-Chan. And yet, Adult Swim seems most in love with FLCL, probably because despite its absurdness, it actually has something of a point.
Justice: I hear they passed on the looser English dub, since it was also a lot more raunchy and [as] didn't want to run something that was a hard TV-MA.

It's fast paced and many people aren't used to that animation style. Also, many people may not be up to accepting dimensional portals that appear out of the foreheads of teenagers.
It's sort of undeniably a weird series.
That being said, there is a method to the madness and it's only six episodes long. It certainly makes more sense on a rewatch, however I'm guessing most who find it confusing probably have only seen one episode, couldn't make sense or couldn't be bothered to make sense of what was going on and just labeled it "confusing" and moved on.
This certainly differs from Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Crayon Shin-Chan, and Milk-Chan all which have fairly basic premises, but are just using those as a framing device for very wacky, unpredictable, stuff.
I guess. I dunno, I groked the whole "iz metaphor for growing up" on my first watch-through. The Space Opera going on offscreen isn't really that confusing to me either.
I like how the anime block used to end with Ghost in the Shell and Cowboy Bebop which are generally pretty quiet, mellow shows. It was perfect programming for two in the morning.

I actually like most of [as] anime now, partly because it's filtered through Toonami.
The exceptions there are Bleach (it's DBZ! But with swords!), FMA:B (seeeeeeeeeeeeeen it), and Ghost in the Shell (most overrated show on Earth).

Ghost in the Shell is quiet and mellow?
All I know is that it's a good show to watch when I'm tired.
And when I'm not tired, for that matter, but there's something special about fighting sleep to see a good show.
I would agree with that.
I used to watch the show on Saturday mornings. I've seen the entire thing through twice and still can't tell you a damn thing about it.
