Going to try Gravity Bone, if only because this guy is so fervent in extoling its greatness. May download Flights of Loving, but not yet. I'm trying to train myself to not splurge on videogames and Magic cards now that I have unlimited access to my bank account, and I've already spent 5 dollars on Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus
lol im european too europeans cant do things you dumb americans do because you use, like, different monies, and have some different names for stuff. <emoticn: tongue></emoticon> did I mention i am not american yet today?
So, a more comprehensive reaction to Gravity Bone. Spoilers ahead.
Considering that it is free, it is a good game. It is a good game that the creator, in what I presume to be an artistic decision, ends long before it logically should end. That makes it pretentious, but it doesn't necessarily make it bad. I've paid for games that are less full of themselves and longer, but much worse.
It's essentially, in my opinion, if someone made a videogame based on an arthouse film. Incomprehensible voiceovers, non-standard visual style, an ending consisting of inexplicable death-induced flashbacks. It's the kind of thing that Oancitizen would review if he was doing a crossover with a game critic, filled with stuff that screams "analyze me!". But you don't have to. You can just go through it.
I guess, what I'm trying to say is download this game.

There's this random NPC who looks like a stuck up teen who's reading a pulpy romance novel
This game is awesome.
