David Wong has a way higher proportion of message and philosophy in his articles than comedy - he's impelling you, the reader, towards specific ends, always. Frankly, it gets on my nerves.
All of these are deplorable, but the most potentially dangerous have to be the drunk-driving legalization site and especially the "meet other married people for sex" site. That last one has Dateline NBC and Scorned: Love Kills written all over it. :P

Yeah, it's often times when they talk about movies or other forms of media where they author might slip into "I'm going to tell you about my opinions".
Their articles about animals rarely fall into that category.
A cereal full of dicks. If Ralston actually got this to stay on the market for more than a few weeks in 1991, I would be very surprised. (I remember the movie, for sure, but not the cereal!)
Just read the entries about the Olympics. Wow, you'd think that this was 2002, not 2012 the way London is carrying on with the security there.
Then again, the Olympics have been further and further up their own asses since, oh, 1984 or so. It's bad enough that the IOC can come in and abuse trademark law in a way that might well be unconstitutional because they're afraid of upsetting their Official Sponsors.
I hope we boycott Rio if this shit gets any worse. NBC in particular can suck my dick.
Also, there are a few links on Cracked to a site called StyleBlazer. Don't click on them; the ads there are awful (at least one is a video feature that auto-plays and can't be muted).

You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
Before the days of DVDs, Blu-rays and illegal downloads, cinephiles had to spend between $50 and $150 to own a digital copy of their favorite movie. The big digital format was laserdisc, and movies were released on discs the size of record albums, because back then no one trusted any technology that was smaller than your dinner plate.
> laserdisc > digital
What does it say about me that I recognized this as bullshit as soon as I read it, despite never having used laserdisc myself?
Myr: Wow, did anyone (except maybe Gladstone) think those songs were by the artists mentioned? I think someone was stretching here. And no, screenies from Yahoo! Answers don't count as citations, because they're all either idiots or trolls.
Oh, and #2 and #1? Gladstone, admit it: YHBT. YHL. HAND.

The Security for London was about the same as it was for Beijing IIRC

^^ From what I can tell, it doesn't take much to crack Vanilla either way. :P

I had one of these as a kid.
My grandma got me it as a present. It creeped me the fuck out and I refused to name it.
My next goldfish was much more normal.

I think it has to do with the way the laser is used.
Relatedly, there is such thing as a laser record player, and I think those are technically analog too.

Remember that horrifying pets article from the other day?
Counterpoint
>implying either of these things is at all bad
...how else would you have a cracked thread?
Then again, Vanilla's free and open source so I don't see why you'd need to do that...
:P
I really hate Cracked for its cynicism, wasted intelligence, and obscenity. I hate that kind of humor.
Wong is often too political and vitriolic, but I tend to like his articles.
And I'm not fond of the excessive use of the word "hate."
