I Wanna Be The Guy is great because for 99% of the people who play it expecting to prove something (that is, the oldskool HARKOR GAMR crowd who think that Halo can't possibly be fun because you don't die every five seconds and the game doesn't make you start back at the beginning when you do) it completely shuts up.
It's the ultimate troll game, because its premise is flawless: "oh, you want a hard game? Here, have all of the difficulty. Oh, why are you crying? I thought you wanted a challenge."
I imagine Gaiden is basically just the same, but moreso.
