I wanna be the DJ
I speak not of turntablism (though that is also sweet) but radio DJing.
So does anyone here have any info on how difficult it is to set up one's own radio station? I'd like to think it's as easy as just hooking a laptop up to some software and then boom you have your own web station but it's probably not.
I should really have Googled this first I guess.

I made a playlist on it once. It was cool, people weren't entirely responsive to it but I was just doing it for the satisfaction anyway.
Interesting.
Ideally I'd like something where I could talk (I suppose I could record my speech and then play it, but that's not quite the same) but that might be a good stepping stone.
Also this is a thing. Seems like what you and I both want (I've always kinda wanted to experiment with radio but I could never find a way to make it work).
