...Which is strange, seeing as how Hasbro didn't own Parker Brothers until 1991 and wasn't even called "Hasbro" until the 1960s.
Monopoly does indeed date to 1935, however, and they have pretty much been using the same card designs ever since.
I think the (C) 1935 Hasbro is an edit. The rest of the card looks genuine though.
Also, I just had a moment of possible fridge brilliance: If Monopoly was published in 1935, that would be right in the midst of the Great Depression. Perhaps Monopoly is a stealth insult of the extravagance and greed of the wealthy in the 1920s.
