So I went and listened to Charanjit Singh's Ten Ragas to a Disco Beat which is an album of house music made five years before house was invented and it's also a hybrid with Indian music!!!

So now I'm wondering how many people have accidentaly created songs or albums of complete artistic mastery without ever realizing it

Honestly I sort of dispute that the man "invented house music". You don't invent a genre of music just by coming up with the technical properties of it, there's generally another element to it. House is only House because of the Chicago House scene.

I like a lot of electronic music so I got a subscription to digitally imported and the selection is incredible even if I don't understand the difference between "house" and "trance" and "goa-psy trance"
