So,
this is it. Admittedly, it's kind of skimpy right now, but with a bit of fancy theming and members and stuff, we'll have ourselves a Heaperblog.
I guess the Tumblr could either just be like a support feed for site downtime and stuff, which would be boring, but useful, or it could be our dumping ground for cool stuff (both on and off of the forum), which I'd prefer.
If you want to join, PM me your email and I'll add you to the members. (It uses your Tumblr account, so if you have one already, you can just use that email.)

never heard of it.
I blame the martians.

Anyway this is irrelevant
I liked the idea, but interest was otherwise nonexistent.

This place was meant to quarantine shitposting?
Oh my God, it's like I stumbled upon paradise. Welcome home, Shitposter Supreme, where the quotes are always empty and the threads dead on arrival

Oh okay
I was wondering what the relationship was with here and TV Tropes

SKIP IF DESIRED
Circa March of 2010, there were a lot of complaints on the TVT fora about people shitposting in "serious" threads. So troper Glenn Magus Harvey made a thread called "The Trash Heap of the TV Tropes Forum" where everyone could shitpost to their heart's content. Instead, it turned into a chat thread for a small group of regulars, with a higher tolerance for silliness and nonsense than is usual.
Roughly a year later, Anonymous User (a.k.a. Anonus) went and made this forum as a spinoff, and over time it actually became popular.
So yeah. The official purpose of this forum is to say a lot of random nonsense.

But that's not much Homestuck, really.
