  I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat

  That being said, a Best Picture win for Wicked would still be eminently preferable to those bastards at Netflix "finally" winning such an award

  Oh, Nonny, the awards aren't respectable and haven't been since before your time or mine.  It's not like this is Lawrence of Arabia and To Kill A Mockingbird back in 1962.

  
  

  Wicked is, at best, cultural flotsam, being to Victor Fleming's cinematic masterpiece what Ben-Hur 2016 is to Ben-Hur 1959 or Ben-Hur 1925.
