You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022

quoting a post produces two <br> tags by default, one before and one two newlines after (in the HTML editor, which i am not sure doesn't parse its own displayed newlines as newlines) the quote

When I play Pokemon and do a normal playthrough I play as the boy character, but if I'm doing a Nuzlocke I choose the girl. You needed to know this interesting fact about me.
I do something similar; when I play Spelunky normal playthroughs (i.e. trying to maximize treasure), I play the Spelunker character, but when I play speed runs, I play the Damsel character. I mainly do this just for the subconscious visual cue to remind me which one I'm doing, since stuff tends to fly by either way and the only difference is what items/enemies/objects I go for.
I still don't understand why you won't play Spelunky HD.

Vanilla does have built-in support for BBCode, but it's not enabled by default...
