go to bed and then feel sleepless, so you toss and turn, and you start to feel sleepy but you still can't get yourself to go to sleep, because you're anxious about something, so you get up and get a drink of some drink like water or milk or an alcoholic beverage, and then go to the bathroom, and go back to bed, only to still be asleep, so instead you get up and turn on the TV or pick up a book or boot up your computer, and you waste half an hour doing something, and you try to go back to sleep, but you still can't sleep, so now you're starting to feel really frustrated so you just turn on all the lights and start reorganizing your room, and as you do so, you discover a bunch of old papers and trinkets from underneath your bed, all covered in dust, and since it's the middle of the night and you have time and it's pretty quiet around you, you feel patient enough to contemplate each item and the personal story involved in each, and that gets your mind off the feeling of anxiety for a while, and so after cleaning your room and putting away these things into some somewhat more proper places and then washing your hands and going to the bathroom again you try to sleep again, but then you're still sleepless and anxious about something, tossing and turning, and so you just turn on the radio and try to tune into whatever junky music station might be playing at the moment, and the radio station talks about a night like this, forty million years ago, when someone lit a cigarette, picked up a monkey skull to go, saw the sun spitting fire and a sky blue as ice, and felt a little tired, so he watched Miami Vice, and then he'd open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur?
