    I tried looking for stuff set in the Everglades, and found a show from the 1960s.

    I think people more often think of south Florida and the Miami metro area as some combination of tropical resort towns, "vice city", and Latin America.  There are certainly more works of creative media that deal with these elements.

    (Meanwhile, the highest points in Florida are mostly in north Florida and north-central Florida, not surprisingly.  The highest natural point around here is on the Atlantic Coastal Ridge, at just 80 ft above MSL.  I say "natural" because otherwise we'd have to count Mount Trashmore.)
