    Beat all the Nightmare dungeons, open up Magicite dungeons, click on Lightning.  Pack plenty of earth DPS, magic blink, and affliction break.

    Pick up the quest "The Weaponsmith of Legend" from Nedrick Ironheart in Vesper Bay. This quest will end with you meeting Gerolt. From there, get the quest "A Relic Reborn",  get your broken relic weapon from the relevant beast tribe zone, craft the corresponding class weapon, and then meld it with the right materia. This will unlock the trial "A Relic Reborn: The Chimera". Once you've beaten the chimera, you will be required to run Amdapor Keep on your chosen job, after which, return to your beast tribe zone, and kill 8 of each of the designated enemies. This will unlock "A Relic Reborn: The Hydra".
