    I had a similar experience with Calvin and Hobbes. I realized around age 8 that I'd read all the books and there wouldn't be any more and I just kept wishing I would discover some I hadn't read yet.

    Calvin and Hobbes ended in 1995; I started reading it in early 1996 when I was 5 years old. By the time I turned 8 in 1998, all the books were out and I had read all of them.
