If you're new, and you want to learn to play, let me know. I can give you some pointers and help you make a deck and such. The best way to play online is via Cockatrice, which I highly recommend.

Anyway: I think I want to make a black-blue EDH deck. I've half-jokingly said I want to use Ramirez DePietro, and I just might do it.

There are green and white human legends.

A few of them look like they could make decent Generals, though I'm not sure you could make a really great deck out of only green and white human creatures.

It only works with basic lands though. :|

Today I got my hand annihilated at least twice, went down to 13 life, and had 15/21 general damage the whole time--the general in question being Thraximundar, which really put things in an "any turn could be my last" perspective. I'm still not sure how I turned that around, but it was nice compared to my utter lack of swag last night.

Nulltread Gargantuan is pretty great. The two best ways to offset his drawback that come to mind are using Khalni Garden and choosing the token it makes, and playing Coiling Oracle the turn before so you can get another use out of its ability.

I was thinking of Elvish Visionary too, since sending her to the top means you can play her again, and draw a card.

There's always the Shadowmoor U/G cards which are pretty neat. Especially Overbeing of Myth, which gives you delicious card advantage.
