  I actually DID use AOL at one point in time.
  
  I remember the kids filter for 12-and-under let me access pokemon.com but not voltronforce.com .  Also, voltron.com was owned by something that was entirely unrelated to the TV show of that name.

  AOL was a shady company that used underhanded methods to continue charging people even after they cancelled their services.

  I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat

  And they kept people on the phone for hours when they tried to cancel
  
  Also of course they bought Time Warner and aggravated its dysfunction
