You might've but I think I had that particular tune in my Youtube rips folder.
There's a bunch of stuff on "Ravekiller" (in addition to the Ubu sample there's some Sun Ra, the same sample of "Neon Genesis" by The Ex-Vandalz I used on "Rock Spring Hut", a bunch of audio from re:Creators, and a ton of sound effects from freeware FPS AssaultCube. Just off the top of my head).
I highly recommend their early albums, in particular the ones where they kind of stopped being a rock band and just made sound-paintings about being a pink ball of the bottom of the sea or having an interesting day or how boring trenchcoat-wearing Joy Division fanboys were.
the movie I scored earlier this year is out now and the soundtrack will be out as soon as I get off my ass and put the thing on Bandcamp
just as a bit of a content warning, it deals with some kinda heavy subject matter (namely, suicide and depression) so maybe just keep that in mind before you watch
so yeah! admittedly the release ended up being a bit lower key than I expected but this is kinda where most of my recent musical output has been (particularly during the opening credits and the last 15 minutes or so prior to the credits), and I'm proud to have been part of it
This is terrible and silly, and I haven't slept in so long, but I got to the chorus so someone has to listen to it, it's the law
As a side note, that's the Touhou soundfont I'm using there. Haven't found the famous horns yet, but lots of interesting things. God knows I couldn't find a decent guitar anywhere else.
There is some footage of the concert but it was shot on an old iPhone so you can't really hear the beat (which is the part I did) and ja (the rapper) doesn't want low quality clips on his TL which is fair enough.
I made that beat in 2015 and it samples some bgm from Yume Nikki.
So! Would anyone be interested in, say, vocal work? Not even singing, but just like, spoken word.
I am planning a thing, which is still mostly in planning stages but I am confident that I will get to the point where I'm comfortable getting guest vocalists.
excluding you, Diamondfish is me, a dance artist / film composer (Tre), and a tracker musician (Yarrun). We don't have a "typical" :p
actually Tre some day when you've got time if you wanna take an account of our catalog again. I know MP8 is DFR-072, which would presumably make Christmas Wishes DFR-073
I'm listing it as DFR-lxxiii on the Bandcamp because Roman numerals are fun and it's kind of an unusual release for a few reasons, even considering what you've said.
the mixtape this is from (tentatively titled Twin Legends From Eastern Temple which is indeed supposed to sound like a Touhou game) will have some CC contributions on it but there aren't any on this particular track.
So, this is a demo of the opening song of the project I mentioned, like, a month ago. It's a new concept album based around the very particular rituals of a strange culture undertaken after killing a great beast.

Blackbox Ravetools Series Vol. II: Patchully In The Chillout Room
Or if you won't then I will because that feels like the optimum sad dance-pop backing.

I'll listen when I can. :3
It's... certainly atypical.
