i cant really judge it honestly because ive listened to it so many times in the past hour or two while making it that ive lost all sense of perspective
honestly I mostly post these things to motivate myself because I have horrible self-esteem and work ethic so if I don't consistently put out things to affirm to the world that this will exist I eventually just dig myself into a hole of "this will never work" and eventually say "fuck it" and just don't do it. I've scrapped albums over it before.
Magic Planet is now available for streaming and download on Soundcloud.
favourites: fl on my mind (lovely crackly vintage synth samples? yes please. i assumed the title was a double meaning and it works well as that), monster stripes (clammy clams vibes on this one, love how everything but that guitar sample drops out at the end), government cars (it's hood af)
anyway I'm glad the album's been so well-recieved. I think I'm going to make a direct sequel to it, but don't quote me on that just yet. I am sort of surprised at how few people commented on the sample at the end but it may just be hard to hear.

I've never actually heard of Todd Terje, but thanks for the comparison nonetheless!
Thank you, Jane.
I think my drum programming, at least wrt hip-hop, is getting better. Especially with hi-hats.
