    Turns out it's not actually a plugin at all. It's a new feature in Firefox 11 that is supposedly meant to help web developers see how the different elements of a page come together (which is likely why they're color-coded like that) but in reality is just fun to look at.

    Hmm...I only have the old version of Firefox and I don't plan to upgrade anytime soon.
