Pretty much. Though I did like how Rufus (...which I almost just typed as Rufio) tried to monologue about how he survived, and Cloud's just like "no one cares". More heroes should respond to exposition that way.
Fighting Kadaj and friends, also fighting Bahamut Sin would be cool, but there's not very many things going on in the movie that you could fit neatly into a video game without the whole Video Movie Games Suck thing going on. Since plot moves faster in a movie than in a game.
