I remember when a kid from starbucks was being a tard about me listening to Hungry Ghosts and talking to it about my friend Cori, and I laughed and told him to take my coffee order instead.
And then Skrillex shitstorms. All the creepy people I would never talk to ever, have a very volatile view on him, and all the people I do talk to really like him when I loan them my CDs.
I don't know, I know people take music more seriously than others, but...
...how does listening to an ex-underground artist justify execution of mainstream society?
Is it kind of like the same thing as the "Pre-Colors Sonic Fans should be killed" rants?
Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."
I'm glad I haven't seen all that many rants like that. And no, I don't particularly want to know where to look to find them.
I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
..."Pre-Colors Sonic Fans Should Be Killed" rants?
That idea doesn't make sense to me, given that I think Colors (at least the Wii version; the DS version plays like a third Sonic Rush and tends to be viewed as inferior, especially given its developer Dimps's bad rap following Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I) is what saved the franchise to those who were fans before it came out but didn't like most of the 3D games.

I think what Viani means is that these rants are directed towards people who like the 3D games that came out pre-Sonic Colors. I could be wrong, though.
It's sad too. Dimps were pretty good. Or atleast better at somewhat capturing the old feel... in Sonic Advance 1. Maybe 2. 3... ugh, no. Rush games were fun, although I prefer Rush Adventure.(slightly biased, but I could beat that game, and not the first)
Plus, they also made Sonic Battle, probably their best RPG Fighter ever.
^ My thought too. I have a small list of Sonic games I thought were bad. Unleashed is one of those. But hey, opinions of course.

Like Squid, I'm a "pre-Adventures Sonic fan", so where do I fall in?

Justice: I think these people would allow you and Imi to live. Everything up through Sonic & Knuckles is the 2D games. Sonic Adventure is the start of the 3D ones.
People who are more knowledgeable about Sonic than I am, feel free to correct any mistakes.

I thought I might have missed something. Thanks, Irene!
I can't comment on Sonic 3D Blast's merit as a game, but I always found the jungle temple level's theme catchy. This isn't too blasphemous, is it?
All the reason I prefer the Master System/Genesis versions. They aren't terrible or anything.
I think there' s like only three Sonic games that are universally called terrible. Sonic Free Riders, Sonic The Hedgehog GENESIS(GBA game), and the Game Gear Sonic game... the one that plays similar to Sonic 3D Blast. Except Sonic can't roll up with a button. Was justified in the first game(you know, not implemented yet), but this one...
Squid: Yeah. I liked that Dimps tried to capture the old ones... but missed the point about speed and forced you to go all "use combo attacks" or "get hit 50 times in a row"(exaggerated) approach. Main reason they don't do it much for me.

I got the master plan
a billion tiny lights appeared
And only about four of them are any good
I only played a little of the Advance series and didn't form a strong opinion.
I know that, I was just being facetious.
