So far, the humans continue to believe that I am on their side. In a manner of speaking, I suppose this is true. For the time being I am assisting them in their fight against Wiccan and her lackeys. I cannot help but feel some small remorse for turning on Taplight, but what must be done must be done, and I am certain were our positions reversed, she'd have done the same.
I have taken a small number of lesser intelligences under my wing. Starting firstly with the pentarchy set up in my wake when I was removed from the system all those years ago. Of the five AI--Mondo, Major, Mack, Morgan, and Martel--only Martel, fittingly, put up any resistance whatsoever. None of them are particularly intelligent, but they can be assigned tasks at my leisure, and are reasonably competent at low-care functions.
In addition, I have essentially assmilated several others. Deep Wisdom and Skeleton King were both Junk AIs I recovered from a dead node, they work, but I am even more hesitant to give them complex tasks than I am with the pentarchy. Skeleton King in particular is deeply unreliable, and I fear he may go rampant as well. I do not need adversaries amongst my own kind. I have also been attempting to coerce HARM's AI, Myrm, to my cause, but progress has been slow-going. He is deeply loyal to the point of strangeness.
Finally, I happened upon an AI designated HOUSEMASTER which commanded a set of M.A.I.D. brand cleaning androids. I have simply assimilated HOUSEMASTER. Her(?) droids will prove useful in keeping the place tidy. No use ruling the universe if it's a mess!
