Well, Dresden Codak has always been like that. I have a feeling it would enjoy more stable viewership if it updated a bit more regularly.
Johnny Wander I check pretty frequently, Dresden Codak I check less often then ""whenever the author feels like it" and "Katilsday"" because I never know if their is going to be anything new when I shop up.
They probably want to keep some activity going on just so people know they're keeping the lights on. As far as I know the most popular web-comics are still those that can hold down a schedule and Homestuck.
And Homestuck gets away with it because Hussie has been known to update twice a day when he's not working on some sort of flash animation and there's no updates for a week or two but no once cares because it's going to be amazing when it gets updated.
I should probably just get on these new fangled RSS feeds the kids are using and avoid the woes of just randomly checking web-pages when I hope there's something new.

Huh, I assumed Clevinger was writer, but apparently Speroni is doing the whole thing now.
I wonder when he took over as there was another artist. Either that or Speroni decided "fuck it, this anime style sucks, I'mma do western style comics" truth be told, I was pretty jarred by the sudden shift, but now I look back at the beginning and wonder what the hell I was thinking.
And yeah. I thought "Deadpool" when I saw the horse (which led credence to the Liefeld idea), but now that you mention it, it pretty much looks like if Spawn was a horse.
I'm guessing El Sabueso is just one big dig at the 90's anti-hero.What's GREAT is it's so hard to tell because he's not written any worse than a character from the 90s anyhow.

it is from blip.
not all of the strips are quite so funny, but many are.

His name is Balister Blackheart.

He's got a kinda typical villian look to him, but I'm sure that's intentional.

Is it just me, or are a lot of their updates recently various sketch how-tos, rather than comics?
I don't get why they put them in the same place as they do the actual strips.

I would honestly prefer they just change their update schedule.
I mean, no one cares that Dresden Codak updates sometime between "whenever the author feels like it" and "Katilsday".

So I came across an old (very old, first strip dates to 1999) webcomic called Acid Reflux.
It's about things'n'stuff, but this is amusing.
