You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
I saw it literally just before the video got pulled. I have another version of this tab open with it still cached, but I don't know if there's any way for me to save it because I'm on my iPad.

So...underpaid intern at Universal accidentally sent out unfinished copy of the trailer, and underpaid intern at IMAX uploads it to the YouTube channel without watching first?

I kinda figured the YouTube mirror would be copyright claimed but I'm a little irritated that it was
Because it means Universal has gone into full-on panic mode in trying to quash this (though thankfully they'll never be able to remove it entirely)
Copyright law is not meant as a tool for keeping people from laughing at your careless mistakes :|
I didn't find this funny but instead I found it to be a probably more surreal experience than the real thing. It made me slightly more interested in watching the movie.
Besides the humor value, what I like about this is how it kind of deconstructs filmmaking on a technical level. People don't necessarily realize the importance of sound design and music, etc., but if you take that stuff away you're left with just some actors falling down and going "oof".
I find it kind of absurd that are trying so hard to keep this hidden, since a) Streisand effect and b) it's actually publicity for the movie. Like I didn't even know there was a new Mummy movie coming out before this.

Yeah, I really don't get the thought process here. It really seems like they immediately panicked and went into damage control mode despite common sense dictating that it's effectively impossible to keep such a thing hidden once it's gotten out.

Movie corporations don't understand how the internet works
Good editing and sound design are a thankless job, because people only notice them when they're not there
Unless you're really into that sort of thing, but even then certain kinds of film-making demand a certain transparency. Comparisons to mastering in music come to mind.

If I did, I would be able to assure you that you have a permanent source for it on request.
Now I have preserved it for posterity.
Though it's kinda become a big enough thing already so I kinda don't need to do this anymore.
