  I like sausage dogs. They can be pretty tasty. The generic cheapest-on-the-shelf dogs are pretty unpleasant, though.

  The problem with plain hot dogs is that they're often dry. A good juicy piece of meat served before it dries up and possibly some condiments can fix that though.

  Decent kosher hot dogs are reasonably appetising under the right circumstances. Proper sausage tends to better, though.
