Children's entertainment has an odd relationship with death. I mean, there's obviously the whole Disney thing where the mother always dies and the villain's death is nearly always horrible but offstage, but that's not even getting into the odd relationship with death that television cartoons seem to have, nor the broader swath of children's media in the Anglosphere.
I'm kind of curious about other people's thoughts are on what the best way to portray death to a younger audience is.
