Sort of. The Yardbirds broke up, so Jimmy Page recruited a new lineup and called them The New Yardbirds. They then changed names to Led Zeppelin, and that was that.
"They sound a lot like Iron Maiden. NOW FOR SOME TRVE BLACK METAL."
Oh god that still makes me laugh after 4 years of watching it.
As for Iced Earth, they're a fusion of Power and Thrash metal, so the Maiden influence is prevalent. Hell, they've done a few Iron Maiden covers.
My favorite albums by them are Horror Show and Burnt Offerings (Fairly non controversial choices) and The Glorious Burden (which a lot of fans don't like).
I haven't listened to all of The Glorious Burden (I do like The Reckoning, though), but Ripper Owens is my favorite singer of theirs. Their new guy is good.
Dark Saga is probably my favorite album of theirs. Part of it is the novelty of being an album about Spawn.

Most subdued rock concert I've ever seen, at least until the percussive maintenance starts.
...Nah.
This might be my second or third favorite Sabbath song.
Sometimes I start playing it without realizing it
See if I can sneak this past the censors
Not a bad one
Have some Dead Horse:
I will say, Megadeth have continued to be worthwhile in a way that Metallica have not. For me. DON'T SHOOT ME
ERASE THE HUMAN MEMORY

AND THOUGH OUR HEARTS ARE BROKEN
WE HAVE TO WIPE THE TEARS AWAY
