Star Wars has a really odd portrayal of indigenous peoples
In A New Hope, you have have the Tusken Raiders, who are every negative stereotype old westerns had about Native Americans, and then the Jawa, who are basically every negative stereotype about Romani people.
In Return Of The Jedi, you have the Ewoks, who worship the first golden thing they see, are clearly cannibals, and who are used as insurgent forces to kill some extra stormtroopers.
Finally, in Attack Of The Clones, you have the Geonosians, who are shitty insect assholes who engage in bloodsport and build deathrobots for the evil corporate confederacy.
What I'm saying is that somehow, the best thinly veiled analogue of people screwed by colonialism is the Gungans
