  Well the joke behind flamebait should be that it's a silly thing to get mad about, or at least that it's something that warrants a discussion that devolves into bitter back-and-forth for no real reason, the joke behind flamebait should not be "this is a thing people get angry about," especially when said thing (misgendering a trans person) absolutely warrants anger. And when it's grouped with trivial things, it makes it seem as if you think intentional misgendering is at worse a mild faux pas and that's pretty offensive.
