the time bandits thing is bologna but when i was reading the zardoz plot summary after watching texhnolyze i was like "you know, these things are kinda alike"
They are both personal favourite directors of mine, and both work well with Konaka's writing style and ABe's designs and... vibes. It's hard to explain his involvement with Texhnolyze because officially he was just the art guy but that's a bit misleading.
ghost hound was a fucking disappointment pass it on
Yeah, most people seem to feel that way, but the sound and shot composition and overall style in the one episode I saw was pretty exceptional and some of the imagery was pretty disquieting so I'm guessing it's more a plot implosion thing.

you are exactly correct.
early on in the show there's one bit that still comes off to me as fucking incredible sound design, which is not something a fool like me notices often

^ Different directors: SEL had Ryutaro Nakamura (Kino's Journey, Ghost Hound); Texhnolyze had Hiroshi Hamasaki (Shigurui, Steins;Gate).
