Baezult is a neat lookin' little game. Definitely reminiscent of early games, like you'd expect on a Commodore 64 (as you mentioned).

Finally watched the rest of this! It was enjoyable. Excited to see more of your stuff, I like the new format.

(also have you seen the sequel? It looks pretty great)

also fun fact: I was watching Episode 1 when it dropped at my aunt's house last week and she was buying something from one of her neighbors, and her neighbor showed me watching it to her son and she was like "It looks like a Mario kind of thing!" and it was the cutest
