  I'm probably an outlier, but the first character named Milo that usually comes to mind for me is the one from Disney's Atlantis (and all around underrated film).

  he's not the first milo that comes to mind (in fact it's probably this one sadly) but man I loved that movie as a kid

  They're probably talking about Milo Yiannopoulos, a conservative activist and internet opinion warrior who I think is associated with Breitbart.  One of various notable things he's done is get involved in pro-#gamergate.

  There's also the rapper, who I think generally spells it lowercase, and of course the aforementioned Phantom Tollbooth protagonist.
