Gen III turned me off the series because suddenly there were TOO MANY POKES TO REMEMBER and it seemed like most of them were 'redundant' or 'didn't look like anything'
this was stupid in retrospect but i was 12 and had a lot of stupid opinions
The best mega is Mega Slowbro. Because just look at it.
(The real best mega is Mega Mawile, because it's Morewile.)
Mega Slowbro had the best sequence in the promo vid for ORAS because there was zero attempt to make it look cool or badass at all it just sat in the water and got rekt by Sharpedo.
generation three is the best since it's the one i played when i was younger. you are all jerks
I have also played Gen III most out of any of them probably.
My favorite is actually the current Gen! I feel the leap to full 3D did wonders for the game's look and I appreciate that the story was not as overwrought as the one in B/W.
i think my fave was cradily. pretty sure i had one in my elite four team, which i put together with no idea of strategy. it may have been how i was introduced to the knowledge that the ocean is really fucking weird
i honestly have no idea why anyone tried to play pokemon with any level of strategy before they rebalanced how EXP was distributed because all you had to do was never use anything but your starter and you'd always be fine?

Cradily is one of the best Pokemon or at least one of my favorites. Certainly the top fossil Pokemon.

yeah but then how would you get your Gardevoir to black hole everyone on the enemy team
Gen III is the only one that I've played, and I comparatively have little affection for what came after it.
Manectric is actually one of my favorite pokemon from that generation, to the point that it was on my team for the Elite Four. So I take the ludicrosity of its mega kind of seriously
fuckin level 96 blazikin, i was so proud of myself. i think i thought the battle tower was some kind of weird joke, you could never get that many level 100 pokes

i was baffled b/c like how the fuck are you supposed to win if you dont have 10+ levels on them???

i now have access to all the three starter types in my gen 2 game https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Futakuchi-onna

Swalot is actually one of my favorite Pokemon. Almost certainly my favorite pure Poison type but that's kind of a "what else is there?" sort of thing.

felt bad about it though, tried to level the others more but kept relying on Typhlosion anyway
