I am really enjoying the whole "this is where you are supposed to go after you're done wandering aimlessly" bit. It is useful. I'm still not used to how tall my person is compared to AS, but I'm getting used to it.
I'm not much a fan, because it kind of intrudes on the whole "adventure" aspect in a way that is at least half strongly personal backlash, a combination of aesthetics and just personal idiosyncrasies, and the rest just by having played the games a lot (not that I really have that much of an issue with it as a mechanic of sorts). That and, like, I like getting lost in these fictional worlds, so it's like no, let me go get lost, please! But Rotom-Dex is such an endearing addition that, overall, I quite like it.
I had such high expectations for the third Trial on account of the second one potentially being very very troublesome, and then my Mudbray just kinda. Wiped the floor with the third. That was amusingly fun.
Lurantis was a jerk and a half, and then some, but I managed to beat it on my first try by playing the looooong-game of Cursing it early on with my beloved Gastly, then playing the damage roulette and switching games as much as I could, and was going pretty well until I ended up switching my Dartrix in to a Weather Ball. But man, that was a good fight.
What? I like games of who can outlast the other, especially in cases like this where Lurantis is durable as frig.
Relatable. I need me an Own Tempo Petilil that doens't have a barf nature. Granted, my already primed Liligant could easily fill the role... But I've raised the same species of pokemon across multiple generations before!!

I wasn't a big fan of it until I realized that I could adventure by going everywhere but the big ! sign and thus not accidentally throw myself into the plot before exploring
