The notion that gore is universally appealing

  • You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
    What makes you say this?
  • I disagree with you via bloody deathmatch. Whoever doesn't die is the winner.
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
I have never met anyone who claimed this.

It is true that gore can be fun, though

anyway if gore is so appealing why didn't he win the presidency?
  • I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat

darnit you beat me to the joke

and he did win the popular vote anyway
  • but yeah the internet has a thing for edginess, and gore is one of the ways in which edginess is expressed

Shows with lots of gore attract people who like shows with lots of gore, surprisingly enough.

People who don't like what GoT offers aren't watching GoT, and probably aren't writing articles for Forbes about it either.
  • Gore can be a neat tonal choice, I suppose.
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”
