    That's kind of disappointing.

i wouldn't even call that fandom, it just looks like people complaining about a cartoon intended for children much younger than themselves.
  • Munch munch, chomp chomp...
No, not quite, but it's a step and skip away, is what I was trying to say.

    “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”
I wonder if the person might not just be overreacting to wannabe edgy anti-fans/"ironic appreciators" of that sort. I mean, the narrative if we progress from that point is reasonably straightforward.
  • I don't think it really matters

I remember when Barney hate was a thing, too; even Animaniacs got into it at one point.

    It's still a thing.

When Mattel put Barney up for sale shortly after they bought HIT people were all "lol who wants to buy Barney"
  • THIS MACHINE KILLS FASCISTS
Hmmm, and apparently no one was interested, because it seems HiT still owns him.
  • I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
    Yeah, no apparent takers

Mattel still owns both Barney and Angelina Ballerina

(Now watch, they will abruptly dump everything besides Thomas, Bob the Builder, and Mike the Knight onto DHX Media one day)

You know, I was just thinking that x.x
