Mostly I'm making this thread because otherwise I'll end up clogging my thread with absurd screenshots. but anyway.
Beyond Chaos is a randomiser for Final Fantasy VI that randomises (almost) everything. And by that, I mean this:
Yes, it is as patently ridiculous as it sounds. So far, this is my experience:
Holy robot soldier, Hato.
A rare and mysterious race of Sabins.
Domon, a treasure hunter so consumed by rage that he never stops hitting things.

...And everything abruptly got 500 times more confusing.
Batou's abilities aren't anything to write home about, and his stats are honestly trash, but he can use items at least, and he isn't being killed by anything short of a mack truck.

Did I mention that one of Hato's Magitek abilities is Hyperdrive? Because one of Hato's Magitek abilities is Hyperdrive.
The brave fistfighter, Gilga, joins the party! And naturally knows X Magic.
Banon is now a samurai mime, a samuraime, if you will, and Ultros is made of gold. (He also threw shurikens at me.)
This is slightly hard to take seriously.
Yuki can't actually equip any weapons I have right now, but she has Tools at least, I guess?
Domon's first action of the fight was to take a Fire to the face and die.
...Whump? (Also holy christ what is with those awful stats.)

A ninja is sorta like a samurai, I guess. Although it's odd that he's using ninja stars as a held weapon.
...Wait. Waitwaitwait.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Phantom Train got redecorated.
Ghosts are magic absorbing ninja now.
...Or would be, if they didn't have Auto-Doom and Auto-Confuse.
(Not pictured because I was laughing in disbelief: A game over caused by a box that responded to dying by doing 900 damage to everything on the battlefield.)
Well, 897. And I was wrong, it wasn't a death trigger. That's a normal move in their repertoire.
I had to. It's tradition.
The feral youth, Picolo. His specialty is setting stuff on fire. Presumably this is the real reason his father kicked him out.
Also Whump.
Whump is actually the rare result of Mog's Earth Blues, a 53 power defense ignoring attack that can't hit floating enemies.
Zozo was full of horrifying mutants (with less than 60 HP) and clones of Typhon.
This jerk knew Blaze, because a dungeon just isn't complete without TPKs.
As you might have guessed, the randomiser also mixes up boss AI scripts. Causing this to happen. Because nothing's ever easy.
Kinda drew the short straw on esper skills, but at least I've got some form of healing now.
KNIVES. (In case you hadn't guessed already, 95% of the randomiser names are anime characters.)
