My first name seems pretty common at my university, though it's never been something that struck me as a name that you'd use when coming up with a list of common names. At least it has a spelling that isn't the most common one. I like that there aren't a ton of people I know with that name, because it feels like I "own" it a little more.

My last name is rare enough that I've never heard of anyone else having it besides family, people I see when I google the name, and this one person that works around here whose e-mail I keep getting sent by mistake. I'm not sure whether people can place the ethnicity of it, but it's Italian.

Tre is a great name, I love it. It means three, for one thing, and when someone says it it doesn't at all sound ghetto, you'd have to look at the spelling for that (and even so, thank Gawd it's not spelled "Trae". Stupidest spelling of the name I've ever seen. Seriously, even "Trey" is better than that crap.)

My real real name (as in, the one absolutely no one calls me unless they're a substitute teacher), eh, could be better, could be worse. I like Tre more.

My name is "Jarrett" which is pretty unique, though people always want to pronounce it as "Jared".

It means "spear bearer" I believe, which is probably some sort of euphemism for virility.

Also, as Haven and I once discussed, the male penis is a weapon, so of course this means I must lay waste to my enemies with my penis.

I mean, it's my namesake.
