Quick question: How does the phrase "Get Back To Where We Once Belonged" relate to Jojo?
[The Beatles - Get Back]
Listen to the first few lyrics
Oh, I see. I instead thought of the ending theme of Symphogear's first season, "Meteor Light", whose first lines of lyrics are "Get back to where we once belonged".
I really like how JJBA always comes up with creative endings for the villains, and they're always as dramatic as you'd expect. So, I definitely wasn't disappointed when that jerkass got turned into frigging stone. Right now it's more of the same - Araki's standard level of being very detailed, dramatic poses and HOT -BLOODED ENERGY, and intensity/expressiveness - except this time the art direction is in a way I forgot I liked so much. And unlike P3, it all takes place in a single town or such, and I really really like that.
Basically this is unsurprisingly my jam seven ways to Sunday, as it virtually always has been since I got into it. Nice first two episodes.
I think this is a turning point for me, as it compares to other parts of the series. I'm admittedly not sure where it stands or where I'm going with it, I just know this is a scene I'll come back to later on (possibly while reading JJBA).

If you remember Jonathan did the same thing with Speedwagon
In a way, Josuke has aspects of every Jojo that's come before him, but at the same time, he's arguably the most human and relateable of the Jojos.
i was kind of wondering where the show was going to go if all the stand users are just random assholes with literally no connection but plot devicing, and it turns out that it goes somewhere fucking fantastic
like i said, plot devicing. there's even a little "remember what that guy said!! we're just going to meet a bunch of crazy psychics for literally no reason"
